The courses offered at the Department of Open Space Policy and Planning Communication focus on controversies in and around the use and design of open spaces. Students deal with socio-political developments and their effects in space:
Students learn and apply theories, methods, and techniques for conflict analysis and resolution and for communicating planning ideas.
Teaching formats include:
- a lecture (BSc),
- an elective seminar (BSc, MSc Landscape Architecture, MSc Environmental Planning),
- Orientation and in-depth projects,
- day and week-long seminars and
- excursions.
